About
Jameson Ranch Camp has been screen-free and technology-free since 1934 — not as a policy, but as a philosophy. Set on a historic working ranch in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Glennville, California, JRC is a two-week residential summer program for children ages 6–15, with a Counselor-in-Training track for teens 16–17. Campers choose their own activities each day from a full roster: horseback riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, archery, riflery, fishing, boating, crafts, and more — while contributing to real ranch life through daily chores and community routines. Children sleep under the stars, grow their own food, and experience the kind of independence that's increasingly rare. ACA-accredited and family-owned for three generations, JRC helps children reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the natural world. jamesonranchcamp.com · (661) 889-2271 · [email protected]
