The camp is offered as a one-of-a-kind camp series at the University of Southern California, with four unique day camps, each clinic having a theme that builds off the previous clinic: Building Points from the Back (Saturday, August 23, 2025), The First 4 Shots (Saturday, September 6, 2025), Transitions and Dictating Play (Sunday, November 2, 2025), and Putting it all Together (Saturday, January 3, 2026). Each clinic stands alone as a half-day session while also connecting to the others. USC Elite Training Camp is part of the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps program, which is hosted on premier college campuses nationwide and is described as the #1 brand in tennis, with camps directed by top college tennis coaches and providing junior players with structured training led by NCAA coaches that combines fundamentals, strategy, and USTA tournament preparation in a fun and safe environment. These Elite Training Camps are for experienced tennis players in grades 5–12 who are looking for a more intense training camp experience and exposure to strategy and point building, and the camps are open to any and all.

Campers are grouped by skill, age, and experience, and groups may change throughout the course of the camp. This camp does not offer swimming as an option. Day campers are expected to bring a tennis racket, tennis shoes, sunscreen, a hat or visor, a water bottle, and a signed medical form, and lunch is not included. Each camper must have a completed and signed medical form brought to check-in on the first day of camp, and a physical exam is not required for campers. The camp, Wilson Sporting Goods, Premier Sports Camps, and its coaches and universities are not responsible for personal items brought to camp. Camp safety is stated as the number one priority, and all efforts are made to ensure that kids are safe throughout the camp, with safety prioritized over tennis and activities when necessary.

The camp director is Alison Swain, Head Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Southern California. Alison Swain built a women’s tennis dynasty at Williams College by leading the Ephs to 8 NCAA Division III team championships, including in 2017, and posted an .889 winning percentage (224-28) in her 10 seasons (2008–17), including 48-2 in NCAA tournament play. She led Williams to 8 NCAA team championships, including in each of her first 6 seasons (an NCAA Division III record and tying Stanford for most consecutive at any level), as well as in 2015 (going 25-0) and 2017, with Williams finishing as NCAA runner-up in 2016 and third in 2014, and she helped the program win 5 conference championships. She was named the 2013 ITA National Division III Coach of the Year, was a 5-time conference Coach of the Year, and was twice the ITA Northeast Coach of the Year (2010–13), is a native of Bainbridge, Washington, and served on the ITA board of directors through June 2018.

Parent feedback about related Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps includes comments that staff and program details run smoothly, that campers enjoyed hitting with Coach Alison, and that campers liked friendly competition, games, and instructors. Parents report that campers made friends through playing together, learned a lot, met kids from different age groups and parts of the country, and that some campers wanted to return for additional weeks. One parent noted that a child who had only played tennis once enjoyed the camp, and another shared that a camper found it both instructive and fun while meeting other kids to play with.
