The Roseville Police Activities League began in 1972 as a fundraising group to support Roseville youth sports teams, and in 1993 three officers launched the RPAL Boxing Program. Its mission is to enhance and enrich the lives of Roseville children and youth by building positive relationships between youth, police officers, and the community through a broad range of accessible and affordable programs and activities. RPAL relies on support from individuals in the community and invites interested volunteers to help out children in the Roseville community.

The leadership team includes President Scott Alvord (Advanced Development Concepts), Vice President Rana Ghadban (CEO, California Chamber of Commerce), Secretary Andrea Blomquist (Roseville Electric, City of Roseville), and Treasurer Jyoti Mehta (Tri-Counties Bank). Additional board members include Gray Allen (Placer County Water Agency), Krista Bernasconi (Mayor, Roseville City Council), Troy Bergstrom (Police Chief, Roseville Police Department), Anne Carpenter (ATS Communications, Inc.), Eric Denio (Denio's Farmers Market and Swap Meet), Jill Geller (Parks, Recreation & Libraries Director, City of Roseville), Geoff Goolsby (Goolsby Real Estate Group), Marcus Lo Duca (Law Office of Marcus J. Lo Duca, P.C.), Kim Summers (CEO, Placer Valley Tourism and @the Grounds), David Tuggle (Roseville Police Department), Abbie Wertheim (Panattoni Development Company), Dan Wesp (Placer County Deputy District Attorney), and Executive Director Jamie Hazen.
