The Spanish Immersion Program

The Spanish Immersion Program offers enrichment classes that are taught 100% in Spanish, including full immersion activities such as crafts, music, movement, imaginative play, songs, role-playing adventures, conversations, hands-on projects, literacy crafts, games, art, and playing pretending. Children’s classes are organized in theme units, and the activities revolve around a central theme. The program includes preschool classes, Saturday classes, and options for homeschooling groups or private classes, and families can invite friends to create their own group.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Preschool and TK-age drop-off classes run Monday through Friday from 8:30am–12:30pm; a Parent and Me practical Spanish class for parents and children meets Fridays from 5:15–6:00pm; Friday Club de Español Spanish classes for ages 5–8 run from 3:00–5:00pm

The Spanish Immersion Program states that enrichment classes are 100% Spanish immersion and that all classes are taught entirely in Spanish. The program offers a preschool option for children 2.5–5 years old, Saturday classes for children 6–8 years old, and a Mommy and Me class for children 2–2.5 years old. It also offers early drop-off and late pick-up, and classes that are structured around children’s building reading and writing skills, as well as practical conversational Spanish with culture exposure, values, and practical living skills. The program accepts CORE, Horizon, Inspire, South Sutter, Pacific, and Visions vouchers. The stated mission of The Spanish Immersion Program is to provide a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can practice Spanish, explore diverse cultures, and develop an appreciation for global diversity through engaging activities and meaningful learning experiences.
