About
4ft and Up Kitchen offers toddler cooking classes, parties, summer and holiday camps, private in-home classes, team-building classes, and after school enrichment classes. Classes are vegetarian and nut free, and activities encourage kids to get creative in the kitchen and try new foods. The program also includes adult and young chef cooking classes that cover how to cook, where food comes from, different ways to prepare it, and what nutrients it gives to the body.

Chef Mo, the owner and chef instructor, began her career in the culinary arts after graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2008. Camp Counselor Jordan graduated from UCSB in 2023 with a BA in film and serves as a camp counselor. The stated mission of 4ft and Up Kitchen is to teach chefs of all ages how to develop a positive relationship with food and food culture through cooking classes, to inspire chefs of all ages to think outside the box with their taste buds, and to help people of all ages develop a healthy relationship with food and food culture one dish at a time.
