Football Camp for the Stars

Football Camp for the Stars offers activities in football and cheer. The camp is held at Valley Christian High School and provides an authentic football experience for athletes with Down Syndrome, focusing on maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Founded in June of 2007, the camp is led by Coach Mike Machado. It is supported by the football community at large and has received several awards, including the President’s Award from the National Down Syndrome Congress. The camp is unique as it was the first of its kind in the United States, offering instruction from NFL football players, along with NFL, college, and prep school coaches.
