Art Explorations with Tara
Instructor Tara Dickinson has partnered with the non-profit Santa Rosa Arts Center to offer Youth Art Classes this Fall. Tara received her BFA with a minor in Childhood Education from UCF. Tara’s been teaching for several decades in a variety of media and to a diverse range of ages, from toddlers to grown-ups.
In these fun and engaging sessions, students will explore a variety of art techniques while bringing their creations to life through an assortment of projects: paper, upcycling, building, drawing, painting, etc.. By blending painting/coloring and crafting, kids will create unique projects that spark imagination and creativity.
Using both guided lessons & open-ended prompts, your child will build confidence, experiment freely, and discover the joy of self-expression, while also gaining a strong foundation in basic art skills, drawing and design, crafting, & color theory.
