About the Class
Linocut printing, also known as lino printing, is a creative printmaking activity that kids love!
This hands-on block printing workshop is a fun and inky introduction to printmaking for kids. It starts with a sketch, and that drawing is transferred and carved into the surface of a linoleum rubber block. Once the lines are removed with a cutting tool, the block is inked, and this can be made into a print multiple times by pressing the design into paper.
Each child will have the opportunity to create their own collection of custom cards for the holiday season using non-toxic, water soluble inks. All materials are included in the class fee.
No experience is required!
