Ohio Brigade Camp at Stony Glen

Ohio Brigade Camp at Stony Glen offers Stockade, Battalion, Battalion Extreme, Father-Son, Father-Daughter, and Junior Counselor Training. Stockade includes whole week and half week camps for boys completing grades 3-6. Battalion and Battalion Extreme are whole week camps for young men completing grades 7-12, Father-Son is a half week camp for boys completing grades 1-12, and Father-Daughter is a half week camp for girls completing grades 2-11.

Stockade ends with Bedtime at 10:15. Battalion schedule is similar; the text shown includes Bible Exploration beginning at 1:00 after lunch.

About the provider

Christian Service Brigade (CSB Ministries) has served since 1937. The Stony Glen history text says Brigade camping in Ohio began in the mid 1940's, the present site was located in 1947, and Joe Coughlin brought his Brigade Frontiersman to camp there for the first time in 1948. The 1950's were major years of construction, and the history text notes that up until 1957 George E. and Mary Milner handled on-the-scene management. The mission statement is: Strong Relationships, Sound Biblical Character, and Servant Leadership through Awesome Activities.
