Bridge the Gap, Inc. Youth & Young Adult Programs offers group activities, sensory experiences, and family support for participants. • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Price: $25 Provides Educational Materials; $50 Funds Educational Session; $100 Supports Family Program
At Bridge the Gap, Inc., the stated mission is to create a community where individuals with autism and all special abilities are understood, included, and empowered. The organization became a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2007, and by 2015 it had found its permanent home in Shawano, Wisconsin. In 2020, leadership was passed to Lesley LaLuzerne, and a second center was opened in Green Bay that same year. Bridge the Gap proudly serves clients from 8 counties and collaborates with 6 school districts throughout northeastern Wisconsin. The organization describes itself as rooted in compassion, driven by experience, and guided by empowerment.
