Creative Clay Class With Ms.Paula Join us to have fun and enjoy learning how to use a pottery wheel! In this class Artists will be using different types of clay to develop skills using the wheel to make bowls. During hand building sessions they will create textured tiles and pinch pot animals and small slab built boxes to hold treasures.

Marin Pottery welcomes young potters to learn through playful, fun, and creative ways all about clay, ceramics, and pottery. We have been teaching pottery and wheel throwing for over 21 years to children and adults. Class fees include add clay, glazes, and firing in our kilns.

Spark your child’s imagination with creative fun at MarinMOCA’s Summer of Art! Comprising three unique, week-long summer camps, our Summer of Art programs offer a diverse range of activities designed to cultivate artistic skills, develop creative thinking, and build lasting friendships.

Based in Old Corte Madera Square, we offer 1/2 day creative, individually themed, fine art camps for children 6-14 years old. During the six week summer schedule, camps run from 9:30a.m.-1p.m. and 2p.m.-5:30p.m., with younger children enrolled in the a.m. session and older in the p.m. The year ‘round program at Masterworks is comprised of three sessions. Spanning from September to May, there are two 12 week sessions and one 6 week session. Beginning in the fall, the Masterworks I and II classes start with the oldest known piece of art in history and by December conclude with Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, of the Renaissance.

The camp focuses on mastering engineering skills using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts, applying real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through seasonally rotated, engineer-designed projects, allowing both new and returning students to explore and build their most imaginative ideas.

Mixed media art workshops focusing on collage, layering materials, texture, and image transfers. Includes one-day and two-day advanced workshops.

Poekie Nook is an after-school sewing studio (with summer camps) where children ages 6-12 learn to hand-sew Poekies (a.k.a stuffies). We foster a safe and nurturing environment where kids are allowed to thrive: emotionally, socially, and creatively. Unbeknownst to them, they will also be learning life-long skills and enhancing their cognitive development.
