Find Nature-Based Summer Camps in Marin

Campers will explore and adventure, making discoveries and observations, and experiment with newfound knowledge while being immersed in the environment and being a part of the earth’s and life’s cycles.

Coyote Camp is Parks Plus Creation’s program for children ages 3 to 6 years old. Our goal at Coyote Camp is to be a safe, nurturing space for children to explore in nature with peers. Coyote Camp provides opportunity for children to play outside, explore, get dirty, and have fun! We share songs and stories, go on group hiking adventures, make discoveries and build friendships, while we share our abundant gratitude for nature. Coyote Scouts is Parks Plus Creation’s program for children ages 7 to 10 years old who love nature, love to play, and are interested in building leadership skills.

Wetland Explorers is an almost entirely outdoor program for ages 5-10 based out of the EcoCenter at Heron’s Head Park. Throughout each two-week session, youth will explore the park through nature hikes, habitat restoration, games, art projects, and a variety of science-based activities. The program is designed to support safe, social development through nature connection.

Each day, campers will enjoy an ecosystem hike in the 18-acre historic nature preserve and then enjoy day-of-the-week theme-based activities: Ponds & Creeks; Connecting Trees & Birds, Native and Non-native plants; Adobe Brickmaking; Organic Gardening.
