VBS is a program where kids take part in worship, craft time, snacks, Bible study, and recreation. All kids entering Kindergarten through entering 6th grade are welcome. The Summer 2025 theme is “Building the Body,” and the key passage for the week is Ephesians 2:22: “In Him [That’s Jesus] you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Evening sessions from 6pm to 8pm, June 22–26, 2025
• Price: There is an optional donation of $6 per shirt with registration
The program’s mission is “Making disciples who make much of Jesus in all nations.” The church states that as it becomes a church personally refreshed by the gospel, it will become a church that seeks the renewal of its neighbors in Helena, AL and all of Birmingham. An optional donation of $6 per shirt with registration is requested so every kid can get a shirt to remember all they learn during their time.
