Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club was launched in 2004 by Club Director Rosario Lopez, who incorporated the program as a 501C3 non-profit and is described as an international sports entrepreneur in the futsal world, professional athlete, law enforcement officer, and motivational speaker. Since 2004, the club has been dedicated to the growth and development of hundreds of athletes, and in 2025 it will celebrate its 22nd anniversary, with over two decades of experience in the art of volleyball. The club’s mission is to provide a professional learning environment for all ages and abilities.

Coaches at Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club are nationally and internationally recognized from the collegiate, professional, and international levels of competition, and are described as passionate, dedicated, qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, with some of the most respected and successful coaches in Arizona. The club uses a Master Coaching System so that all athletes go through the same practice plans, and national teams use stat software, video analysis, and jump tracking devices. The program also offers a year-round Training Academy for volleyball skills and physical training for all levels, a college preparatory program described as a true college preparatory academy since 2004, and a Post Graduate Program (Gap Year) for student-athletes who were not recruited in high school.

Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club has a speed, strength, and agility program and a high-quality nutritional program geared toward improving strength, speed, and stamina for young athletes. Camps and programs provide competition in local club and national events, with a high coach-to-player ratio in camps, dedicated one-on-one training, performance enhancement evaluations, and a one-on-one personal evaluation by the coaching staff at the conclusion of the tryout camp. Mi Vision Photography is the official videographer and media expert of the Arizona Saguaros, providing expert media coverage and personalized team and individual photography, including personal highlight reels.

The club is a member of USA, AAU, and JVA volleyball and adheres to the policies that govern those associations, which thrive under the confederation of NORCECA sanctioned by the FIVB, and the club strongly supports the Clean Sports Act. Core values of humility, ambition, effort, teamwork, and respect are integral to the way the club plays, and the club is described as one of Arizona’s most prolific clubs. The Saguaros Super Fans are made up of former players, parents, and benefactors that span decades.

The Saguaros Solidarity project is run in close collaboration between the club teams and the Saguaros Super Fans Club. Charity causes are chosen each season, and various entities work with the club’s athletes in joint activities from November to August, with the idea that athletes in the club will eventually take part in all of the different experiences as they get older. The club also has a comprehensive parents page with FAQs to help navigate club volleyball and an official shoe sponsor, RIP-IT, whose FUTURE shoe is the first volleyball shoe ever to be certified by VERT®.
