Avondale Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga and Meditation offers training in Kung Fu, martial arts, and karate for kids, along with Tai Chi, Qigong, Qigong healing sessions, meditation, Zen Yoga, and Hatha yoga poses. The program specializes in the teaching of traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and Taoist healing arts and includes a Zen Wellness system with meditation, tai chi, yoga, qigong, Taoist medicine, and original live music. The Zen Yoga program combines Hatha yoga poses with the wisdom of the five elements, and the student body ranges in age from 5 to over 90 years of age.

Avondale Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga and Meditation is led by Jason Campbell and is partnered with United Martial Arts & Zen Wellness. Founded in 1995, United Martial Arts has worked with thousands of students and their families, and since 2005 Avondale Kung Fu has been associated with martial arts in Phoenix, Arizona. The program offers a free intro class, a Basic Training program, a Black Belt Training program, children’s classes, adult programs from beginner to advanced levels, and special workshops and seminars with martial arts experts from around the world. Its martial arts curriculum includes instruction on setting goals, perseverance, and respect for others, and the Zen Wellness program is based on over 25 years of research and development while training tens of thousands of members. Avondale Kung Fu is involved in the local community, regularly taking part in community events and offering workshops for schools.

Parents and students have shared experiences such as increased self-esteem and confidence, improved focus at school, and a more positive attitude about life for children in the Black Belt Training program, as described by Jenny M. Another parent, Rachel P, describes the school as a place to bond and train together with her son and notes that her son has learned a deeper level of respect, focus, and self-esteem. A student, Stacy C, reports feeling better and more energetic after training sessions and describes feeling a little stronger each time after leaving training.
