North Star Youth Partnership

North Star Youth Partnership offers Peer Assistance & Leadership (PAL), Youth Task Force, Girl Talk, Teens’ Closet, Baby...Ready or Not, Safe@Home, and Safe Sitter®. Girl Talk is weekly, and high school teens mentor middle school girls. Safe Sitter® is offered multiple times per year for youth ages 11 and older and costs $55 for a one-day training or $95 for a two-day training.

North Star Youth Partnership engages youth ages 11-18 through educational, recreational, leadership and service-learning opportunities.

About the provider

North Star Youth Partnership has empowered Arizona youth since 1997, and TAPP was renamed North Star Youth Partnership in 2008. The program values all youth and aims to empower them to be healthy, self-assured and involved in their communities. It is the only certified Safe Sitter® organization in Northern Arizona. PAL participants average about 1,000 hours of community service to their peers and community each year, and Youth Task Force projects reached over 2,000 of their peers.

North Star Youth Partnership is a program of Catholic Charities. Classes are free only where stated in the source; each participant is responsible for the cost of the class when signing up. Teens under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for Teens’ Closet.
