Desert Foothills Athletic Club offers youth recreational, developmental, and competitive programs in basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. The program includes in-house soccer leagues, recreational basketball in-house leagues, competitive soccer teams, and competitive basketball teams. Additional activities include Open Run Scrimmages, Desert Elite Tryouts, Summer Camps, and a Soccer - Leadership Committee.

Desert Foothills Athletic Club runs recreational soccer programs for ages 3–14, recreational basketball programs for ages 5–14, and recreational lacrosse for grades K–12. It also runs competitive soccer teams for ages 6–18 and competitive basketball teams for ages 7–18. The club has over 1,500 kids combined across all programs.
Desert Foothills Athletic Club (DFAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was established in 1983 and has been described as established in 1985, serving youth in the North Phoenix and Cave Creek area. Its mission is to promote health and fitness through excellence in youth sports based on skill, sportsmanship, values, and player character, and to provide a safe, family-oriented environment for natural player development while preparing players to excel during competition, training, and in everyday life experiences. The club focuses on providing children with a rewarding opportunity to participate in youth sports and promotes the value of youth sports while emphasizing fun and respect for the game.
