Momentum Aerial offers classes in aerial silks, trapeze, lyra (aerial hoop), pole, and rope. The program uses progression-based, sequential learning that focuses on proper technique and strength building in these aerial disciplines.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
Momentum Aerial’s teaching methods follow progression-based, sequential learning for aerial students in the Flagstaff community. Teachers are trained in proper spotting technique, injury prevention, and aerial teaching progressions, and members of the staff participate in Paper Doll Militia’s Teacher Training and Certificate program at an approved facility. Momentum Aerial is co-owned by Joanie and Morgan and is celebrating 7 years in business. The program is a proud member of the American Circus Educators Association and is a Host Studio for the Paper Doll Militia Remote Teacher Training. Momentum Aerial offers 100 weekly classes to a student body of over 500 Flagstaff community members. Momentum Aerial is LGBTQ friendly and welcoming to people of all body types, backgrounds, socio-economic levels, and abilities, and states that aerial is accessible to all and that there is a place for everyone at Momentum.
