About
The H.E.A.R.T. Center offers day camp with horse care, riding lessons, crafts, water play, and other activities in morning sessions from 7:30am to 12pm. It also offers overnight camp experiences, including a 2-night Supported Adventures camp and 2- and 3-night overnight camp sessions, with transportation available for some programs for an additional fee.
Programs
- Day Camp (Half-Day Sessions) — Ages 6-12 · Morning Camps, 7:30am-12pm · $375 per week · Split by age group; sensory-aware, neurodiversity-trained staff; horse care, riding lessons, crafts, water play and more.
- Supported Adventures Overnight Camp (Youth) — Youth ages 7-17 with disabilities who benefit from additional support · June 29-July 1 · $750 · 2-night adventure camp at Camp Colley; smaller, more adaptive experience with intentionally paced programming; caregiver or communication partner may attend depending on support needs.
- Supported Adventures Overnight Camp (Adults) — Adults with disabilities ages 18+ · July 28-30 · $750 · 2-night adventure camp at Camp Colley; adaptive programming; optional transportation to and from Phoenix available for an additional fee.
- Teen Leadership Retreat — Teens ages 13-17 · July 17-19 · $500 · Overnight retreat in Happy Jack, Arizona at Camp Colley; includes horsemanship, outdoor challenges, guided reflection, and team-based experiences; transportation available for an additional fee.
- Microschool Retreat Weekend — Aug 14-16 · Details to be sent out soon.
- Overnight Camp — Youth ages 7-17; tracks available for Adventure Campers (7-15), Counselors-In-Training (16-17), Vocational Campers (18-22) · June 15-18; June 22-25; July 7-9; July 13-16; July 20-23 · $150–$900 per week · 2- and 3-night overnight camp experiences at Camp Colley; inclusive for neurodiverse and neurotypical youth; transportation available for an additional fee.

About the provider
The H.E.A.R.T. Center was founded in 2014. Its leadership team includes Chelsea Harden, CTRS, Founder and Executive Director; Miss Carrie, Operations Manager; Miss Kennedy, Vocational Director; and Mr Matt, Culinary Director. The program says its camps are inclusive and welcome campers with special needs, and that it offers inclusive camps year-round and every summer.
HEART Center camps are inclusive and welcome campers with special needs. Day Camp is for ages 6-12. Supported Adventures Youth is exclusively for youth ages 7-17 with disabilities who benefit from additional support. Overnight Camp states 1:6 staff ratio and that campers who require 1:1 support or assistance with daily living skills may need to send a support provider. Income-based scholarships are available for some camps on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last. Camperships are available and ESA funding is accepted for the program portion.
