Community Education & Youth Programs offers non-credit Community Education classes in areas such as arts and crafts, metalsmithing, ceramics, health and fitness, life and leisure, and computers and technology. The program includes academic, enrichment, and recreation activities that use hands-on learning. Students can explore a new activity, upgrade an existing skill, or meet new people through these classes.

The mission of Mohave College’s Community Education Office is to focus on the educational needs of the community. Non-credit courses are taught by community professionals experienced within their chosen fields. The leadership team includes Lori Gunnette, Associate Dean of Community Education & Youth Programs at Neal Campus Kingman; Kari Ingerson, Program Manager of Community Education & Youth Programs at Bullhead City Campus; and Sandy Desmarteau, Program Manager of Community Education & Youth Programs at Lake Havasu City Campus. The Mohave College Beale Street Center is described as a downtown hub for education, business, and community partnerships, housing Corporate & Community Education, the Small Business Development Center, and the Chamber of Commerce, and it provides workforce training, small-business support, and collaborative events. Since 2021, the Beale Street Center has expanded opportunities and strengthened downtown Kingman’s vitality. The Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC) is a 36,000-square-foot facility that offers hands-on training in several programs and connects education and employment by equipping students with real-world skills tailored to the needs of regional employers.

Testimonials from Mohave College students and alumni describe individual experiences with the college. Chase Rice, a Mohave College graduate, states that the college changed his life trajectory and led him to want a long-term relationship with the college. GED graduate Jasmine Olivo says the teachers were helpful and that she built a special connection with them. Alumni Adam Romano says he enjoyed the community that formed around his studies and that Mohave College helped him connect to what he wants to do later in life. Alumni Chief Troy Sterling notes that having the flexibility to pick his schedule was important so he could attend classes without worrying about work scheduling. Alumni Rusty Dubois says that Mohave College is not just a small community college and that its A/C program is among the best A/C training programs in the western United States.
