Children's Campus Preschool & Childcare provides care and education for children aged 1 year to 12 years through infant, toddler, preschool, and before and after school care programs. All meals are provided and included in tuition, with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack times offered throughout the day, and the program states that these are nutritious meals to help children have more energy for learning. Transportation is provided to and from local schools for the before and after school program, with optional bus transportation to nearby schools and classrooms open all day on school holidays. The program includes transportation and year-round programs, and children are taught the three Rs: respect, responsibility, and reverence. Classrooms are video monitored, and the program describes its environments as child-centered.
Children's Campus Preschool & Childcare is part of Small Miracles Education, which operates 16 schools across Arizona and 17 childcare and preschool centers across Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. The program states that all teachers need at least six months of experience before hiring and go through more training than state regulations require. Martha Martinez is the Center Director and has been part of Children’s Campus for the past 20 years. Children’s Campus reports that it has been dedicated to providing personalized child care services since 1982 and states that it has a steadfast commitment to making children its #1 priority, offering care and education in a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment with a focus on academic, social, and emotional development, personalized learning experiences, trusting relationships, and a lifelong love for learning. The program is part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and it notes that the majority of Small Miracles preschool locations are nationally accredited.
One parent shared that every teacher is “so awesome,” mentioning Ms. Pam and Martha by name and noting that their child came home singing new songs and learning ABCs, and that they feel their son is very safe there. Another parent, Terrie Fielder, said Ms. Martha and Ms. Pam are “the sweetest kindest ladies” and that their children are always sad to leave, and that they definitely recommend the program. A former attendee, Sussan Sanchez, described the experience as wonderful, said the staff is amazing and considerate, and shared that her brother with autism improved his social skills and learned to talk while attending. Another parent, Tony Tavizon, stated that both daughters attend, that the oldest has been there since she was almost 2, and described Mrs. Martha as both loving and strict, saying she treats all kids like grandchildren and that the food served for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks smells delicious and is described as the “yummiest food” by the children.
