VolleyballCamps.com Advanced Volleyball Skills Camp

VolleyballCamps.com Advanced Volleyball Skills Camp is an advanced volleyball skills camp that runs as an intensive, two-day volleyball camp. The program includes six on six competition and a game called Survivor, which is a Queen/King of the court game played with the rules of Over-Correction in a fast paced environment. The camp focuses on executing superior techniques while playing, using the Survivor format so that skills are downloaded into motor memory and become habits.

Olympic Gold Medalist Pat Powers leads the camp and is described as an Olympic Gold Medalist, collegiate All-American and pro beach star. Pat Powers returned in 1997 to his alma mater, which he led to the 1980 NCAA championship as a player, to become the USC men’s volleyball head coach, and he steadily accomplished his goals in his 5 years at Troy’s helm. VolleyballCamps.com is described as the Nation’s #1 Advanced Volleyball Skills camp and the Nation’s best volleyball skills camp for high school girls, boys and adults. Players ages 11–18 and adults are invited to join, and two hours into the camp, players are separated by their ability to set and hit for safety reasons. At the end of the first day, Pat Powers talks to players and parents about athletic scholarships, college opportunities, and club and high school volleyball, and this talk is described as having a value upwards of $5000.
