Yavapai County 4-H offers hands-on experiences and projects in science, agriculture, health, and civic engagement. The program includes both non-competitive and competitive contests, as well as water education through the Wild Over Water program.

For more than 100 years, the statewide 4-H network of experts, trained educators, and volunteers has connected communities to University of Arizona research and resources. Membership in Yavapai County 4-H is open to all youth at two participation levels: 4-H Cloverbuds, ages 5–7 years old, participate in non-competitive contests, and 4-H Members, ages 5–18 years old, do compete. Membership enrollment is through ZSuite, and office hours are by appointment only. Programs reach every corner of the state, where kids and teens complete hands-on projects in health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement with guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles. The leadership team includes Stacy DeVeau, STEM Program Coordinator Sr., 4-H Youth Development, and Natalie Olson, Assistant in Extension, 4-H. The mission of Yavapai County 4-H is to provide youth ages 5–19 with hands-on experiences in science, agriculture, health, and civic engagement that empower them to build essential life skills and prepare for whatever their future holds.
