Arizona Elite Baseball Academy was founded in 2022 and is led by Director ZJ Buster. Coaches are hand-selected by the director through a rigorous screening and interview process that includes background checks and evaluations of coaching experience, teaching style, and a player-first mentality. The program states a mission of developing complete young men and competitive athletes on and off the baseball field by building advanced baseball skills, shaping strong character, fostering genuine friendships, and instilling a lifelong passion for team sports, structure, and growth through the game of baseball.

The program has one team at each age division and states that there are no guest players, no shortcuts, and no revolving doors. The 2026 Spring Program includes 9U ELITE, 10U ELITE, 11U ELITE, 12U ELITE, and 13U ELITE, with a 9U–14U program coming in fall 2026. Planned 2026 travel includes a World Series in Omaha, Nebraska for 9U ELITE; a World Series in Atlanta, Georgia and a travel trip to Dallas, Texas for 10U ELITE; a World Series in Destin, Florida and a travel trip to Huntington Beach, California for 11U ELITE; a World Series in Cooperstown, New York and a travel trip to Houston, Texas for 12U ELITE; and a World Series in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina plus travel trips to Houston, Texas and Huntington Beach, California for 13U ELITE. Arizona Elite Baseball Academy also offers the AEBA Select Program, created to give players outside of Arizona the opportunity to compete in AEBA-hosted tournaments and events throughout the year, and it reports serving families from more than 30 different zip codes across the state.

The program describes its culture as built on accountability, toughness, and respect. Families who join Arizona Elite Baseball Academy are described as part of a community that values both excellence in baseball and service to others, supporting outreach initiatives that strengthen Arizona youth. The academy teams up with The Miracle League of Arizona as part of its community involvement. Credentials and recognitions include the 2025 Father & Son Home Run Derby champions, Troy and Ty Gerlach Jr., and congratulations noted for the 12U Elite (Class of 2031) on winning the 2025 Cooperstown All-Star Village Week #1 World Series.
