Gold Medal Gymnastics – Tempe opened in 2004. The fully air-conditioned training center includes all gymnastics apparatus, a dedicated preschool space, a tumble track trampoline, parent viewing areas, organized drop-off zones, and parking. The Tempe location offers gymnastics classes for parent/tot, preschool, recreational, and Xcel, as well as cheer and tumbling. Gold Medal Gymnastics was founded by 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist Amanda Borden-Cochran, who is the Director and Founder, and Brad Cochran is listed as the author of a news post. The program’s mission is to provide a safe, positive place where young athletes are encouraged to pursue goals, be self motivated, and develop social skills while building lifelong memories, relationships, and self confidence.
