“A” Camp is a traditional day camp for campers ages 5–11 and also offers a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Camp as a leadership program for youth ages 12–14. Voyager programs are optional add-on opportunities that include morning swim lessons and offsite field trips. CITs have specific time for community service projects, on-campus field trips, mentoring opportunities, and they participate in camp games with staff and younger campers. A 10% sibling discount is automatically applied when additional campers are registered, and this sibling discount counts toward both “A” Camp and CIT Camp.

The leadership team includes Skylar Le Duc, Youth and Family Coordinator; Erin Anderson, Assistant Director of Youth and Family Programs; and Rachel Lucas, Sport and Youth Coordinator. The program is part of Campus Rec, which has three locations across campus that are open seven days a week from early morning to late at night. Each Campus Rec location meets the ADA’s Standards for Accessible Design and includes accessible strength and cardio equipment, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and aquatic lifts at the pool. The mission of the program’s parent organization is to provide a range of opportunities for balanced and healthy lifestyles to the University of Arizona community through comprehensive and quality programs, collaborations, and facilities. Community involvement includes Voyager program community service projects for Counselors-in-Training and University of Arizona efforts to build sustainable relationships with sovereign Native Nations and Indigenous communities through education offerings, partnerships, and community service.
