Cuisine Classique Cooking School

Cuisine Classique Cooking School offers cooking classes, cooking workshops, corporate team building events, and cooking camps. The program includes fun, onsite classes several times each week that focus on preparing full meals in class and then enjoying them. Summers are reserved for kids and teens with cooking camps in June, July, and August.

Cuisine Classique Cooking School is family owned by Tucson native Mardi Burden and her husband Bob. The school’s head chef, school chef, and school coordinator is Mardi Burden, who brings professional experience from restaurant kitchens and large catering events to the classes she teaches. Classes are taught by expert instructors and expert chefs who focus on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including many vegetables that are organically grown just minutes away in season. The school describes itself as the Tucson area’s premiere gourmet cooking school and offers a wide range of cooking classes and workshops for adults, teens, and children. Its stated mission is to create, encourage, and inspire passionate cooks by providing quality tools, classes, and instructors in the school and online, and by promoting the benefits of sharing mealtime with family and friends throughout the community. Classes are described as fun, friendly, and intimate, with an emphasis on personal attention.
