Tucson Village Farm offers hands-on programs for youth that include camps, cooking classes that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients, and customized experiences such as school field trips and team building programs. The program also hosts community events and community volunteer days, along with volunteer opportunities on the farm, in the kitchen, and in educating. Families can take part in activities such as the Midweek Market, the FREE Earthen Sculpture Workshop Series, Sunday Soup Class: Mulligatawny, MLK Day of Service, the 4-H High Ropes Course, TVF Outdoor Adventures, the Culinary Education Center & Cooking Classes, the Wednesday Market & Retail Store, and the Animal Education Center.

Tucson Village Farm is a seed-to-table program that started in 2010 and is a program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona. It is described as a working urban farm and healthy living center that fosters life and leadership skills in young people through agriculture, culinary education, outdoor adventure opportunities, and community engagement. Its vision is to cultivate healthy lifestyles, wellness, resilience, and sustainability in young people, empowering them to be contributing members of their communities. Tucson Village Farm includes the Angel Charity for Children Culinary Education Center at the Big Farm, a 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador Club, a 4-H High Ropes Course and TVF Outdoor Adventures, a Midweek Market with seasonally available produce and culinary delights from the TVF kitchen, a Wednesday Market & Retail Store, and an Animal Education Center.
