Atomic Hockey operates a hockey academy, including a full-time hockey academy for Grades 4–7 where students hit the ice every day. The Atomic Hockey Skatemill is powered by AK Hockey International and professional skating coach Aaron Konecsni of Kelowna, BC. All coaches are certified, and the facility is technology driven in every phase, with over 250 skatemill drills, over 300 skill drills, over 2000 gym and home exercises, and over 1200 on-ice drills. The program states that this is the only skatemill curriculum in the world with proven results for over 20 years from the beginner to NHL level and describes its approach as professional, organized, and on time. Atomic Hockey states, “We’ve spent over 30 years defining hockey and now we are reinventing it. We’ve evolved so that you can transform your game and take it to the NEXT LEVEL!”

Through a partnership with HockeyShot, Atomic Hockey is building a hockey skills influencer team. Testimonials about work with AK Hockey and the skatemill include comments from Shea Weber, Tyler Myers, Kyle Turris, Connor Bedard, Logan Stankoven, and Ty Murchison describing improvements in areas such as first few steps, stride power, edge strength, technique focus on the skatemill, and the level of training they experienced.
