Alameda Child Development Center

Alameda Child Development Center offers a School Break program for children 18 months through 11 years, or through the end of fifth grade, and an Academic program for TK through 5th grade. The School Break program runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm and is open year round except state and federal holidays and the week of Christmas and after in December. The Academic program runs before and after school.

About the provider

Alameda Child Development Center was established in 1943 and is part of the Alameda Unified School District. Its leadership team includes Director Jill Hunter, Office Manager Sandra Ramos, and Office Assistant Lorena Villalobos. The mission of Alameda Child Development Center is to work as a team of staff, parents, and community to enhance the growth and development of all children, use limited resources to ensure the success of all children, build a strong academic and personal foundation to continuously close the academic achievement gap for all children, and create the experience that allows for a lifetime of learning and responsible citizenship.

The center is open year round except state and federal holidays and the week of Christmas and after in December.
