About
Studio 8 offers dance classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip-hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical, Cheer, and Acro. Students participate in an annual dance recital, and dancers who join the Company 8 Dance Team have opportunities to perform at events such as a parade down Main Street USA at Disneyland and an NBA Warriors Game.

Studio 8 was founded in 2004 by Director and Artistic Director Vanessa Medve and has been providing dance instruction in the Bay Area for over 20 years. The professionally trained teaching staff focuses on proper technique, body placement, and poise while encouraging self-confidence and camaraderie in a non-competitive environment. The program offers dance classes for toddlers through adults, with Pre Sparkler classes for ages 18 months to 7 years using a creative dance approach and fun props to support creativity, locomotor skills, and artistic expression. Enrichment dance classes emphasize enjoying the art of dance, while Jump Start Dance Classes focus on strength, flexibility, and advanced dance skills for dedicated dancers.
