About
AEF K-8 Academy and High School Summer School Programs offers Morning Academic Classes, Afternoon Academic & Enrichment Classes, a Summer Elementary Enrichment Academy, a Summer High School Program, and 9th Grade Orientation. The program includes Morning & Afternoon Academic & Enrichment Classes for K-8 and a High School Summer School Program for incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Alhambra Educational Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support and enhance the educational programs of the Alhambra Unified School District, benefiting all schools and all students, and to provide direct service by developing, sponsoring, and implementing programs that enrich the curriculum and instructional program. The Board of Directors is comprised of parents, community business and professional people, retired educators, and community activists. The leadership team includes Steve Perry (President), Cliff Bender (Vice President), Martin Ulloa (Secretary), Marilynn Chun (Treasurer), and Ed Aguirre, who began the Summer Elementary Enrichment Academy and the Summer High School Program, along with other board members and coordinators such as Sharon Woo, Nathaniel Rock, Shirley Gudal, Lorraine Tom, Dawn Rock, Alice Tan, John Nunez, Hoang (Kevin) Nong, Rafaela Diaz, Michelle Alcala (Executive Assistant, K–8 Academy Office Manager), Alice Tang (Treasurer), Amy Tambara (K–8 Academy Coordinator), and Bill Yee (High School Coordinator). AEF presents a Service to Education Awards Dinner and Gala, described as AEF’s 19th Annual Service to Education Awards Dinner and Gala, recognizing individuals and community organizations who have contributed many hours of service or money to the education of children in the community. The program also offers an Adopt A Camper donation option and a Deduction Program.
