Music Maker Academy Music Lessons offers drum lessons, drum programs, and drum classes, along with private lessons, group lessons, and online music lessons. Students can study instruments such as drums and violin, and can also take a voice private lesson. Drum students learn multiple styles, including rudimental drumming, classical, rock, jazz, and Latin drum set styles, with a focus on musical literacy, technique, music theory (rhythm, scales, and chords), drumming rudiments, ensemble and solo performance, and applying popular music to percussion. Drum classes include performing opportunities such as solo recital performance and jamming with other musicians, including a rock band.

Drum programs at Music Maker are offered for students from 5 years old to adults, and young drum beginners ages 5 to 6 are evaluated for readiness. Most instructors hold advanced degrees from leading conservatories and universities, and classes are conducted by passionate and qualified teachers who are described as caring and experienced. The program offers fun, innovative music classes with a comprehensive curriculum and a comprehensive array of musical instruments to master, with a focus on building musical curiosity in the young.
Music Maker is recommended by PYLUSD School District, Anaheim City Recreation Department, and the iLEAD Home Study Program. It specializes in a wide range of hard-to-find print music, stocks method courses needed for the Music Teacher’s Association Certificate of Merit, and can locate most hard-to-find sheet music and print it on the spot with full authorization from the publisher.
