About
Angeles Crest Christian Camp Summer Camps take place on a modern 100-acre campground that includes rustic cabins, hiking trails, outdoor adventure elements such as a pool, climbing wall, and high ropes course, campfire spaces, meeting halls, outdoor recreation areas, a chapel, open meadows, and rustic structures. Campers spend time in an environment with sweeping vistas and dense forests at a high-elevation location with all-season conditions, including sunny, dry landscapes in summer and snowy backdrops in winter. Families are advised to dress in layers and pack items such as shorts, pants, a coat or sweatshirt, closed-toe shoes, boots in case of snow, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle, with special attention to sun exposure and hydration at 6,000 feet elevation.

Angeles Crest Christian Camp was founded in the 1940s, beginning with US Army surplus tents, then expanding to rough wooden cabins without electricity in the 1950s, and eventually becoming a modern 100-acre campground. The mission of Angeles Crest Christian Camp is to see lives changed through Jesus Christ by providing great mountain top experiences with an eternal impact, and the camp holds to traditional historic Christian doctrine as the foundation of all that it does. The camp was founded to support the Christian Churches/Church of Christ camping outreach ministry and states that it does not discriminate. The organization is led by a Board of Directors for the year 2026, including Brad Dupray (Treasurer), Dave Glienke (President), Margaret Scavo (Vice President), Pam Young (Secretary), Ken LaMont, Maurice Mosby, Brian Wilson, Matt Wilson, Scott Wilson, and Executive Director Dave Crouse.
