AV Taekwondo

AV Taekwondo offers Taekwondo training that includes self-defense techniques and physical training. The program teaches the Korean martial art of Taekwondo and follows a Taekwondo Creed that includes Courtesy, Integrity, Self Control, Indomitable Spirit, and Perseverance. School rules at AV Taekwondo are Be Helpful, Be Courteous, Be Respectful, and Always Try My Best. The program includes a Children Program, Teen Program, and Adult Program.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

AV Taekwondo has been serving the community for almost 10 years. The school is led by Master Brian (Brian Johnson), the founder of AV Taekwondo. Brian Johnson is a 5th Dan in Taekwondo and 4th Dan in Hapkido. AV Taekwondo states that its goal is to teach the Korean martial art, Taekwondo, while also teaching life skills to help guide people to success in any aspect of their lives. The school has experience teaching both children and adults, as well as experience working with special needs children, including disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, and kids on various parts of the autism spectrum. AV Taekwondo is an Approved Vendor for Gorman Learning Center, Sky Mountain Charter School, and Blue Ridge Academy.
