Youth Programs – After School and Afterschool Clubs includes activities such as Sunday school, Salvation Army Adventure Corps for boys, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Sunbeams, Girl Guards, music classes, athletics, arts and crafts, and camping. The program also offers options like After School Academy, Homework Assistance, Christian Troops, Homework Club, After School Club, Teen Nights, Afterschool Care for Kids, Kids Club, Kids Camp, Child Watch, Kinder Kroc, Home School Enrichment, Teen Club, a Basketball League, Early Childhood Education, Youth Development, After School Tutoring, a Child Day Care Center, YPL, a Tutoring and Mentoring Program, Double Punches Boxing, Youth Outreach & Gang Prevention, Child Care Services, Morning Latchkey, YPL Teen Group, Afterschool Programs, and After School Programs. Each of the Corps Community Centers in the Del Oro Division has a religious and social program for young people as part of these offerings.

Many youth programs in this set of offerings have full time professional leadership in addition to volunteers. The Salvation Army states that its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. One participant said, “The program helped me develop responsibility and social skills. I can better interact with my community.”
