• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring season has one practice a week for all divisions; Fall season has one practice a week for Tiny Tots, U6, and U8 divisions, and two practices a week for U10, U12, U14, and U18 divisions
High Desert Youth Soccer League is in its 41st year of playing in the High Desert and was established in 1984. The league states that it provides a valuable sporting resource to the community of Apple Valley and surrounding areas and offers a family friendly environment for youth learning the skills of the game, with opportunities for tournaments and club teams as their skills progress. It is described as one of the largest recreational youth soccer leagues in Southern California and as one of the largest recreational youth leagues in Southern California with over 1200 players participating in Fall and Spring seasons. Every player registration includes a uniform set with one jersey, one short, and one pair of socks, which are given to coaches during the week of the season opener, and league policy does not allow adding a child’s name on the jersey. Shinguards are required for all age groups for all practices and games, and the league states that there are no refunds. Nick Garrett is listed as President of High Desert Youth Soccer League.
