Avila Hot Springs Swimming Lessons offers group and private swimming lessons in a large outdoor heated freshwater pool with a sunny deck and double slides. In addition to swimming lessons and swimming, participants can soak in a hot mineral pool and make use of showers during their visit.
• Ages: 8–15 years old
• Schedule: Group swimming lessons meet for 8 classes of 45 minutes each, Monday–Thursday; private lessons meet for 4 classes of 30 minutes each by appointment, with Summer 2025 sessions offered June 16–26, July 7–17, and July 21–31 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
• Price: Group swimming lessons cost $280 per child for 8 classes with a $20 discount for additional children; private lessons cost $310 per child for 4 classes with a $20 discount for additional children; a non-refundable $12 reservation fee is required to reserve any swim lesson spot.
All classes are taught by Red Cross Certified Lifeguards, and the program follows American Red Cross swim lesson guidelines. Avila Hot Springs was discovered in 1907 by oil drillers and established by the Budan family.
