Hartland Christian Camp Summer Camps include a wide range of activities such as archery, basketball, ballfield games, dodge ball, gaga ball, volleyball, tether ball, and carpet ball (gutter ball). Campers have access to facilities and activities including a gymnasium, children’s playground, climbing wall, low ropes course, zipline, giant swing, Extreme Swing, seasonal pool, hiking, disc golf, shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, Z-Tag, and paintball. Additional options include fishing at a pond, boats, horseshoes, birdwatching, sightseeing, crafts, gold panning (fool’s gold), and a History/Sierra walk-through lab, with these recreation activities available at no extra cost for campers.

Hartland Christian Camp Summer Camps are part of Hartland Christian Camp, a non-denominational Christian ministry established in 1946. The camp states that it is committed to providing an unparalleled ministry experience in the name of Jesus Christ, exists for His glory, and offers biblically sound programs for all ages, including summer and winter youth camps, family camp, Young Adult Camp, Man Camp, Women’s Retreat, Homeschool Family Camp, and quilt retreats. Hartland’s primary focus is to share the message of salvation through faith in Christ alone and to encourage vibrant spiritual growth, with a stated belief that Jesus is the Son of God, the Bible is the holy inspired Word of God, and salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Hartland summer camps include team recreation, competitive tournaments, worship music, and messages, and every camper and counselor receives a free camp T-shirt, a free camp picture, and, if needed, a free Bible. The camp operates as a closed campus limited to staff, approved volunteers, and registered guests, and care packages for summer camp can be ordered and delivered at mail-call, with orders and payment due prior to 10am on Wednesday. Hartland is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), partners with other Christian churches to engage their congregations with God’s Word, and offers church and ministry facilities year-round for Christian retreats ranging from 25 to 425 people, with accommodations that include dorm-style cabins, RV and tent camping, and deluxe options. Groups of 50 or more attending one of the Sponsored Youth Camps may submit a request to see if they are eligible for an invoice credit toward some of the cost of their charter bus rental, with limited funds and not all requests approved.
