Hartland Christian Camp Summer Camps include a wide range of activities such as archery/tiro al arco, basketball/baloncesto, ballfield games, crafts, disc golf/disco de golf, dodge ball, paintball, Z-Tag, and carpet ball (gutter ball). Campers also have access to a climbing wall/muro de escalada, low ropes course, zipline, giant swing, extreme swing, seasonal pool/piscina de temporada, gymnasium, and a children’s playground/parque infantil. Additional options include hiking/senderismo, fishing/pesca, boats/barcos on a pond/estanque, birdwatching/ornitología, sightseeing/pasear, foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard/juego de tejo, tether ball, volleyball/vóleibol, horseshoes/herraduras, and gaga ball.

Hartland Christian Camp Summer Camps were established in 1946 and operate as a non-denominational Christian ministry. The stated primary focus is to share the message of salvation through faith in Christ alone and to encourage vibrant spiritual growth. The ministry states that it believes Jesus is the Son of God, the Bible is the holy inspired Word of God, and salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, and it is staffed by a local body of Christian believers.

Hartland Christian Camp is an independent, not-for-profit (501c3) ministry guided by a board of directors/elders and is a member of CCCA. The organization states that it seeks to glorify Christ in all that it does, is committed to boldly proclaiming the Living Word, and has a goal to produce Christians committed to knowing, living, and sharing a compelling faith. It offers a wide range of biblically-sound programs tailored to meet unique needs and describes its ministry experiences as innovative, relevant, and high-quality for all ages.

Hartland Christian Camp Summer Camps include team recreation, competitive tournaments, excellent worship music, and challenging messages. Every camper and counselor receives a free camp T-shirt and a free camp picture, and any camper who needs a Bible will receive one for free. The camp provides access to a wide variety of recreation activities at no extra cost and offers care packages that can be ordered and delivered at mail-call during camp, which must be ordered and paid for prior to 10am on Wednesday.

Hartland Christian Camp states that it is committed to the idea that no one should miss out on camp due to a lack of funds and offers scholarships. The ministry partners with other Christian churches to engage their congregations with God’s Word and describes itself as a local body of believers. Hartland’s church and ministry facilities are available year-round with capacity for Christian ministry retreats ranging from 25 to 425 people, and accommodations range from basic dorm-style cabins, RV and tent camping, to deluxe accommodations. The campus is described as closed, limited to staff, approved volunteers, and registered guests.
