The Junior Golf Academy of Bakersfield offers the Junior Golf Academy for ages 6 to 18 at $120 per month. About the provider

The Junior Golf Academy was developed in 2005 and has 14 years of experience teaching fundamental golf skills to juniors. Leadership includes Michael Moore, Golf Professional & Director of the Junior Golf Academy; Shelly Moore, Assistant Director; Michael K. Moore, Program Director & Teaching Professional; and Shelly Moore, Mental Performance Coach & JGA Coordinator. The program is an award-winning year-round program recognized in the top 50 in the world by US Kids Golf, and its curriculum was voted by US KIDS GOLF as the top 50 in the nation.

• Adult Golf Clinic — $200 per month
• Mental Performance Coaching — $35

Hands on instruction with 15 students and 3 instructors. Students are rotated through different golf stations. Water breaks provided. Certificate of Completion allows registration for the JGA after school Fall Program as a 2nd level student. Students advance through 6 levels of comprehensive instruction. After passing each level test, students receive a bag tag and a certificate of achievement. The program includes play days, skill challenges, par 3 competitions, and course play with parents or adult supervision.
