Kern Equestrian Academy Riding Lessons offers horse riding lessons that include both horsemanship training and guided riding. Riders can take semi-private riding lessons in small groups of 2–4 riders. Helmets and equipment are provided for all lessons, and walk-ins are by appointment only with tours available by scheduling.

• Schedule: Each lesson includes approximately 20 minutes of horsemanship training and 30 minutes of guided riding; semi-private lessons are 50-minute sessions with 30 minutes of riding and 20 minutes of horsemanship.

The program is led by Nicolas Rossi, Head Trainer and C.E.O., who has over a decade of coaching experience and is certified as an FEI Coach. In 2015, Nicolas established Rossi Equestrian, and two years later he founded Kern Equestrian Academy. The academy states that its mission is to provide top-notch training and instruction so riders have the skills and confidence to excel in the show ring, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment and giving horses care and attention. The academy reports that it is dedicated to showcasing the talents of riders and horses at the highest level of competition and to proudly representing the local community, Kern County, and the state of California. Kern Equestrian Academy has received Gold star barn awards in 2022 and 2023 at the Paso Robles Horse Show and the Best of 2023 Distinguished Teaching award for the best riding school in Bakersfield.
