About
Northwest Bakersfield Baseball Association focuses on giving local youth a place to enjoy the game of baseball. The program follows a code of conduct that includes the T.E.A.M. concept, which stands for Teaching, Enforcing, Advocating and Modeling specific values for everyone involved. The league has a snack bar on site, and there is a contact person for questions, volunteering, or ideas for new menu items.
Northwest Bakersfield Baseball Association was established in 1988 by a group of people who wanted a place for youth to enjoy baseball. The organization states that athletic competition for its players should be fun and part of a sound educational program, with high standards of ethics and sportsmanship while developing good character and other important life skills. The league has the right to remove anyone who does not follow its code of conduct, and it will not tolerate foul language, racism, or any type of threat toward anyone at the league. Any conduct that violates this code is reviewed by the board of directors, and individuals can be banned from future league activities. The leadership team includes League President Stan Thompson and a snack bar contact named Tricia. The association notes that support through volunteering, feedback, or purchasing from the snack bar helps keep the fields in good condition and supports the community. The organization also participates as one of thousands of association partners using RAMP Registration Solutions.
