Dance Spectrum Dance Studio

Dance Spectrum Dance Studio offers classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, hip-hop, acro dance, acro/tumbling, Hawaiian, Hawaiian/Polynesian, modern, Mommy & Me, Pre-Ballet, and combination classes. The studio also offers a Drawing Workshop, an Intro to Cecchetti Workshop for Teachers, a Summer Ballet Workshop, and Guest Classes.

• Schedule: Registration for Summer Classes and/or the 2026-2027 Schedule of Classes will be held July 1st (Returning Students) and July 2nd (New Students) from 10am–1pm and 3pm–7pm.
• Price: Register before the 2026-2027 Dance Year begins (Aug. 7, 2026) and receive $10 OFF annual registration fee.

Dance Spectrum Dance Studio was founded in 1999 under the direction of Pearl D. Wardlow and has provided dance training in the Pass Area for the past 25 years. Dance Spectrum strives to develop the versatile dancer by offering an array of dance classes with an emphasis on ballet training, and states that dance can transport, inform, and inspire. According to the studio, instructors strive to bring out the best in each student, and respect, dedication, and increased confidence are traits developed in each dancer, with the hope that students leave with a genuine love and appreciation of dance and the other arts.

Dance Spectrum is a family owned business and is known for tasteful and age appropriate choices in music and movement. The studio has produced multiple end of year productions including the story ballets Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Alice in Wonderland, as well as many Nutcracker Ballet productions, and presents The Nutcracker Ballet every other year. The annual End of Year Production format alternates between an all inclusive show and a separate story ballet plus a separate tap/jazz/hip-hop production. In June 2026, Dance Spectrum will present Alice in Wonderland featuring ballet and pointe students and Dancing through the USA! showcasing tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, modern, musical theater, hip-hop, acro, and Hawaiian/Polynesian students.

Spectrum Dance Ensemble is a performing and competitive team made up of students ages 3–18 who are selected by audition each year. Auditions for The Nutcracker are open to all Dance Spectrum ballet students enrolled in ballet ages 3–18. Boys and parents not necessarily enrolled in ballet are invited to sign an interest list to be considered to perform in roles such as Teen or Adult Guests, Toy Soldiers, Mouse King, and the Nutcracker Prince/Nephew.

Through performing at local events such as the Beaumont Oktoberfest, Thriller at the Beaumont Pumpkin Carve, Sun Lakes Christmas Tree Lighting, and the Beaumont Winterfest, members of Spectrum Dance Ensemble learn the value of giving back to the community and see first hand the joy that sharing their gift of dance can bring to others.

Dance Spectrum was recognized by Senator Barbara Boxer in 2006 and by Senator John J. Benoit in 2009 for its success in providing high caliber dance training and performance opportunities in the Pass Area. In the fall of 2013, Dance Spectrum was voted Best Dance Studio for Kids in the Inland Empire by voters on the I.E. Hotlist. The studio offers a 2-day Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced Summer Ballet Workshop, a 2-day Intro to Cecchetti Workshop for Teachers, and a 4-day Drawing Workshop.
