Early Care & Education offers full-day, year-round care for eligible families with children from birth to 5 years old. The Early Learning Centers provide child care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with comprehensive services for their families.

For more than 100 years, the YMCA of the East Bay has been bringing families, neighbors, and friends together in an environment to learn, play, and grow. The Early Care & Education program is part of the YMCA of the East Bay’s mission to Empower Youth, Advance Health, and Strengthen Communities. Through Early Care & Education, Youth Development programs, and Health & Fitness membership and programs, the YMCA of the East Bay serves 68,000 people. The organization provides $564,337 in financial assistance for YMCA programs, including scholarship money for gym memberships, Youth & Government programs, swim lessons, youth sports, and camperships, and it provides $97,126 in campership dollars so more children can experience overnight summer camp.
