YMCA Camp Oakes is a summer resident camp offered as a special week that has been a cherished tradition for families in the West End YMCA community. In 2026, the YMCA of Greater Long Beach will oversee full camp operations, including staffing, program delivery, transportation, and safety, while working closely with the West End YMCA.
• Ages: 8–16 years old
• Schedule: One-week summer resident camp session from June 14–20, 2026
• Price: Member: $725.00; Non-Member: $725.00; Deposit: $100.00.
Session 0 is open to everyone from ages 8 to 13. Leadership 1 Boys is open to males from ages 14 to 15, and Leadership 1 Girls is open to females from ages 14 to 15. Leadership 2 Boys is open to males from ages 15 to 16, and Leadership 2 Girls is open to females from ages 15 to 16.
For many years, this special week at Camp Oakes has been a cherished tradition for families in the West End YMCA community. The West End YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The West End YMCA serves the Southern California communities of Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Ontario, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga, and Fontana, and will support this camp experience by leading community outreach, marketing, and financial assistance scholarships.
