Bear Valley Kids Camp includes activities such as swimming, hiking, time with animals, crafts, games, and music. The program also includes summer fun and adventure as part of the camp experience.
• Schedule: 2026 camp dates are June 22–26, July 6–10, and July 20–24.
Camp Directors are Michele Dunn and Daphne Hogan, with former Camp Directors Bev and Austin Pickett. Bev was an elementary school teacher in the Corona/Norco Unified School District for 4 years after receiving her BA and teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton. Austin was an instructor for Suzuki Motor Corp. and taught Motorcycle Mechanics at Riverside Community College after receiving his Associate Degree from L.A. Trade Tech. Bev and Austin lived in Big Bear for 34 years. The camp is faith-based and Christ-centered, and it is held at Christian Faith Campus. The mission of the program is to continue teaching young kids about having a relationship with God and introducing them to the person of Jesus. The church agreed to host the camp so it could continue in 2023.
