Bloomington Recreation and Park District Youth Programs

Bloomington Recreation and Park District Youth Programs offers activities that include Preschool for 4-5 Year Olds, Preschool for 2-4 Year Olds, Tiny Tot Soccer, a Youth Baseball Clinic, a Youth Flag Football Workshop, and the Bloomington Dance Program. The program schedule also includes FSA Senior Nutrition Breakfast and FSA Senior Nutrition Lunch as part of its offerings. Activities take place on different days of the week and at set times, with some programs meeting in the morning and others in the late afternoon or early evening.

• Ages: 2–17 years old
• Schedule: Weekly options on Wednesday and Thursday, with morning preschool and nutrition programs and late afternoon to early evening sports and dance activities

The mission of Bloomington Recreation and Park District Youth Programs is: “We promote the safety, health and enrichment of the communities we serve by providing essential municipal services along with diverse community based programs in an efficient and sustainable manner”. Community involvement connected to the program includes the 5th Annual Earth Day Community Cleanup at Kessler Park, a Bloomington Parks and Recreation Senior Prom in 2026, a first annual Father-Daughter Dance at Ayala Park, a Swim Beach Grand Opening Party, and community celebrations for the unveiling of new statues at Kessler Park.
