About
BVA Little All-Stars Year Round Clinics focuses on volleyball skills and development through specific skill and fundamental drills. Players take part in individual position skill training, games in clinic, live play, and 6 on 6 play when appropriate for their group.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Price: $110 monthly fee, with a $40 initial registration fee
The initial registration fee helps get players set up with practice gear and player profiles. Clinics run year round, and enrollment is always open. Girls are welcome to join any time, and the clinics run on a monthly auto pay that can be frozen or canceled at any time. A free trial is available.
Clinics are designed for specific skill improvement and adapt to each group, and advanced groups may participate in 6 on 6 play when staff feels the group is technically ready. The program includes weekly clinic themes and dress up days with prizes for those who participate, along with engagement and communication with parents in a Group Me setting.
BVA Clinics were established in 2008 to introduce the sport of volleyball to youth players in the North Orange County area and have been the foundation of what BVA believes in. BVA is known for year round clinics and considers these clinics a stepping-stone to a volleyball career and future participation in BVA programs. The clinics are led by Kristin Sosa, BVA Clinic Director.
According to the stated mission, BVA strives to give each clinic player a solid foundation in high level technical skills and training and aims to give players the tools they need to perform at their full potential as volleyball athletes. The mission also states that the program is in the business of creating and teaching life long lessons through building character, teamwork, hard work, responsibility, integrity and fun, and that it strives to offer a safe and fun learning environment while training players to perform at the highest level for girls’ school and club tryouts if they want to advance their game.
