Stagelight Performing Arts was founded in 2013 by Lindsey Russo and Alyssa Gramer. The program’s stated mission is to offer a performing arts education that shapes happy, healthy kids who love their art, strive for excellence, and positively impact their community, with training in Acting, Dance, Vocal Musical, and Musical Theatre in a safe and welcoming learning environment. The program supports children’s performance interests at school, in the community, pre-professionally, or professionally, and is connected to a sister company, Stagelight Family Productions, which offers shows and performance opportunities.

Families can access Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Vocal Music training programs that enhance children’s performance opportunities at school, in the community, and pre-professionally. A one-time free trial class per student is available only during open enrollment periods, and trial classes are subject to availability and do not guarantee a spot in the class. Enrollment is managed through a Customer Portal web page or mobile app using the organization code “stagelightarts,” where families can submit future absences, reserve makeup classes, and manage their account, and they can enable push notifications in the app to receive announcements.

The studio emphasizes constant professional development, a rigorous and engaging arts curriculum, and leading with love in instruction and classroom activities, with a focus on students working hard, having fun, and building lasting friendships on and off the stage. Families have opportunities to tour the studio or peek in on a class, and studio news, alumni stories, and information about facilities and staff are available through dedicated sections titled Who We Are, Studio News, and Our Alumni. A note from the organization is signed “Marley” and the Stagelight Staff.
