Art Attack Kids Oil Painting Classes

Art Attack Kids Oil Painting Classes offers 2 hour oil painting classes for children that include oil painting, drawing exercises, and a still life oil painting of a basic form. New students begin with drawing exercises followed by a still life oil painting of a basic form to show how techniques apply to 3-D objects. With guidance from the instructor, students are encouraged to choose their own projects to practice the techniques they are learning.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: 2-hour classes with options Monday–Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings and afternoons during the Spring Semester, which runs from March 9 to May 23 (no class March 29–April 5)

The program is offered for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students, and all supplies are included. Art Attack also offers engaging themed weeks of summer camp that include fine art crafting, watercolors, oil pastels, clay, and plein air field trips where students paint on location. Art Attack is an art studio founded by Nancy Call Torres, and over the past 31 years, mother-daughter duo Nancy and Audrey have grown Art Attack from their garage into a staple in their corner of the Bay Area. Art Attack provides weekly art classes to students of all ages residing in the San Francisco Bay Area and describes itself as an artistic community, a support group, and a safe space to explore unique and diverse perspectives while building lifelong friendships.
